Fiddlers, dancers, a hot Irish stew lunch, bowling and a bouncy castle – there will be something grand for everyone at St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Killarney.

Coming up this Saturday, March 16, at the Shamrock Centre, the big annual free event will be a massive community celebration for all ages, say organizers, with events running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. throughout the big building.

Highlights include the return of the lively McConnell Irish dancers (with two shows), Sleepy the Clown and his balloon animals, free sticks and pucks, Toonie bowling, cotton candy, cookie decorating, crafts, and even a thrilling ride in a big green fire truck.

Plus, there will be green ice cream, a photo booth, face painting, tattoos, and nails, along with loads of prizes and gifts, a 50/50 draw, and Brick Adventures interactive play.

Grande finale of the day will be the appearance of incredible magician Alex Jav Hamm, who will take the stage for his mesmerizing show at 2 p.m. to wow the audience.

So much to celebrate and enjoy at St. Pat’s, so put on some green and come out to the big party!
