Mando maestro coming to the Legion Hall this Saturday

Juno-nominated Andrew Collins Trio appearing Saturday night, March 14, at RCL #25

An amazing, world-class trio is set to shiver the floorboards at the local Legion next weekend.

It’s the Andrew Collins Trio, a spectacular line-up of top musicians, with a string of awards trailing them, who will be taking the stage upstairs at the Killarney RLC #25 on Saturday, March 14, at 7:30 p.m.

Mando-maestro Andrew Collins has been nominated for a Juno award five times, and is a seven-time winner of the Canadian Folk Music Award.

He will man the fret boards of the mandolin, fiddle, guitar, mandola, and mandocello – accompanied by fellow string-gurus Mike Mezzatesta and James McEleney.

It’s the fourth and final event this year of the HyLife Performing Arts Series, which has brought incredible Canadian talent to our small town. It should be a cracker…

Advance tickets (no tickets available at the door) are $30 each, and available from the Heritage Home for the Arts, Lewis and Jones, and Sweet Pea and Willow.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. The Legion Hall entrance is located at 122 Finlay Street – just behind the Post Office.
