The Killarney Shamrocks are back at the Shamrock Centre tonight at 8 p.m. to open the Tiger Hills Hockey League season against the expansion Virden Oil Kings.
The Shamrocks came flying out of the gate in game two, tying up the West Division final series with a decisive 5-2 win over the Boissevain Border Kings.
After losing just three games all season, the Killarney Shamrocks have finished second in the league, just behind the undefeated Boissevain Border Kings, and receive a first round bye in the Tiger Hills Hockey League playoffs.
