Emergency lights flashed and siren squeals filled the air last Saturday, as fire trucks, with excited passengers aboard, swarmed the town’s streets on a sunny autumn day.
The chance to finally relish the fabulous new fire hall in town – and enjoy a hot dog and cake in the process – is coming up tomorrow, Saturday, October 2, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Attendance may have been stymied by torrential rain last weekend for the first annual Sights and Sounds Arts and Music Festival held on the grounds of the Heritage Home for the Arts, but the quality of performers was stellar.
