TAKES TWO TO TANGO – Gomez (Graeme Lovett) and Morticia (Elora Wiesner) make up with a delightful dance during Killarney School’s debut performance of the Addams Family on Thursday night. The show runs again this Saturday at 7:30 p.m., followed by a matinee performance on Sunday at 2 p.m., after a snowstorm cancelled Friday’s scheduled performance. Tickets are $15 and available at Trinkets & Treasures in the mall and at the door in Killarney School. 

The Addams Family

The Addams Family brings to the forefront of the stage Wednesday Addams (Emily Dousselaere), the daughter of Gomez (Graeme Lovett) and Morticia Addams (Elora Wiesner), as she navigates both her family and her fiance’s family. 

In this comical telling, every family member from Pugsley (Joel Lovett), who does not want to see his relationship with his sister change, to Grandma (Elle Labossiere) who is looking to get the best out of the years she has left, to Uncle Fester (William Hamilton) who has love problems of his own, all attempt to find a way forward as their world changes. 

As the two families, including Mal Beineke (Lance Briones) and Alice Beineke (Angel Rabanal), meet and connect, they each must look at their story of love to allow Wednesday to write her own love story with Lucas Beineke (Stefen Struth). 

Surrounded by a chorus of ancestors, the play tells the story of every family, with its own dark twist.
