Shamrocks take game two with big win at home
Game three tonight in Turtle Town

The Killarney Shamrocks came flying out of the gate in game two on Monday night in front of their hometown fans, tying up the West Division final series with a decisive 5-2 win over the Boissevain Border Kings.
Killarney’s Isaac Friesen opened up the scoring, just over one minute in, assisted by Jesse Bernard and Brayden Cuthbert. Then Brandon Switzer scored on a great single-handed effort, to make it 2-0 Shamrocks after the first period.
Killarney would score one more in the second period (Jesse Bernard from Brandon Switzer and Kyle Peters), and two more in the third (Brett Opperman from Switzer and Peters, and Ryan Howatt with the final tally assisted by Aubrey Chapman) before Boissevain finally got on the board.
The Border Kings’ Rylee Zimmer and Devon LeBlanc would score the last two goals of the game, for the 5-2 final.
In game one on Saturday night, Ryan Howatt scored the lone goal for the Shamrocks (assisted by Morgan Magwood and Jesse Bernard) in a tight 2-1 victory for the Border Kings in Boissevain.
Game three goes back to Turtle Town tonight at 8:30 p.m., with game four in Killarney’s Shamrock Centre this Friday at 8 p.m.
