Trekking through history: A pictorial review of Canada’s 150 Dinner Theatre
CANADA’S 150 DINNER THEATRE – Choir director Lisa Campbell leads the Grade 3/4 Choir in “Let There Be Peace On Earth,” with the Killarney Senior Band accompanying, during Killarney’s School’s presentation of Canada’s 150 Dinner Theatre last Thursday night in the Shamrock Centre. From “This Land Is Your Land” to “The Hockey Song,” and from Sir John A. Macdonald to Nellie McClung, Killarney School covered Canada’s 150 years through music and acting. Featuring the K-6 Choir, the Jazz and High School bands, Drama and Experiences Canada students, the J T & T Trio, and a wonderful meal catered by the Ninga Café, the event was truly a great tribute to our country’s big milestone. The whole evening was tied together chronologically with an original play by Wendy Lovett. A pictorial review of the event follows.
