Fun at the fair: a pictorial review

It was a great crowd at the Killarney Fair, on June 24 and 25, for the first time the event had been held since 2019. Scroll on to see some of the highlights captured through The Guide’s camera lenses.

THE COWBOY RACE – Carter Nichol operates the zoom boom holding the tire that Corbin Munroe is hanging from, while his sister, Rayna Munroe,  rushes through the rain on her trusty steed, Zip, to rescue her brother. The Cowboy Race was the name of this new event at the Killarney Fair on Friday night, and the Munroe siblings had the fastest time. Rain did put a damper on some fair events, including Friday night’s chuckwagon races. But the races ran again at noon on Sunday, and Saturday’s events all went ahead with some help from the big beer garden tent. Keep scrolling for a pictorial review of the fair.
